FDC recently completed the fitout of Levels 7 to 11, 20 Bond Street, Sydney, for Origin Energy under a Construction Management method to accommodate the consolidated Energy Markets Business Unit.
The premises incorporate general open plan work areas, meeting rooms, quiet rooms, a computer room hub, interactive breakout spaces and various administrative and amenities areas. Origin Energy’s requirement was for a sustainable and modern work environment, reflecting an extension of their recent Melbourne and Brisbane office projects. Origin Energy’s objective was to provide functional and user friendly space within an inspiring environment that promotes collaboration amongst all users.
The new office layout has been designed to support mobile and collaborative workplace behaviour - modern, fresh, simplistic and flexible in its design, within approximately 6000m² over five contiguous floors.
The project promotes ESD principles including energy and water minimization and reduction / re-use strategies as a key aspect of the project. The fitout is required to achieve a minimum 5 Star Green Star “interiors rating".
