John is the keeper of the key when it comes to unlocking the mystery of design development.  His comprehensive approach and historical experience adds significant value to any project, be it "design and construct", "head contract" or participative "construction management" delivery. 

 

John’s experience in construction, fitout and engineering spans over 25 years and has included in depth involvement in design, scoping, estimating and project / contract management protocols. This has provided valuable background knowledge for his continuing development at FDC, both for external construction, interior fitouts and the more challenging services projects.

 

Joining FDC in 1996, John’s role has evolved along with the company to the present day where he provides support to many projects at their inception, ensuring that the various design layers - architecture, services, engineering,  compliances and others - are properly integrated and scoped in the pre-construction phase.  If so, the "start smart, finish well" philosophy works every time.

 

A calm and thorough communicator, John can steer a client through the often challenging and unfamiliar process of finalising a brief, layout, design, specification and budget.  Alternatively, he can work with an established project team to ensure that the FDC bid is compliant, considered and comprehensive.
