ASICS

ASICS are the manufacturers of sporting footwear and apparel and are a global corporation.
This project consists of a 13,000 sqm warehouse which is utilized as their distribution centre for all of NSW. There is also a 2,500 sqm office that serves as the head office for NSW comprising open plan office space, private offices, two showrooms, a gym and a reception area. The office was of a high standard with detailed joinery, feature floor finishes, ceilings and wall graphics throughout. Also on the site a sports field was constructed named the “Field of Dreams” which was to be used in marketing campaigns and photo shoots.
The main challenge encountered on this project was integrating the base building design with an ever evolving fitout design, both of these designs being undertaken by different parties. The level of detail and calibre of the finishes selected also added complexity to the project and shifted the focus of the construction. |
