Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club is an international standard facility, comprising public and private members bars, gourmet restaurant and associated state of the art kitchen facilities. The Clubhouse also comprises versatile conference and function areas and associated amenities.
FDC, in their capacity as Design and Construct builder, sought to impart a special personality, character and style upon the TwinCreeks Golf and Country Club through an innovative use of natural materials, blending with the pre-existing natural beauty of thesurrounding countryside and combining to complement and enhance the site’s recently completed world class 18 hole golf course. The nature, source, refurbishment and application of timber in this project is simply stunning.
A golf pro-shop and member and non member change/locker facilities has been tastefully incorporated into the ground floor area,while the club’s administration offices, staff amenities and golf buggy recharge, storage and wash down facilities are located within the basement, conveniently out of site from public and club members.
The project received dual MBA “Excellence in Construction” awards, the categories being “Best Use of Timber” and “Resource Efficiency”. |
