FDC Charity Committee has recently completed a much needed central teaching kitchen at Warrah Special School in Sydney’s Northwest. The project involved converting a large storeroom into a fully accessible teaching kitchen that will be used to teach students with special needs key life skills such as nutrition and cooking.
Warrah School Chief Executive Officer, Georgina Michaelis, said about the project, “We are so appreciative of FDC’s generosity in delivering a teaching kitchen for us. It will add so much to the work we can do with our students”.
FDC’s relationship with Warrah was born through Cherrybrook and West Pennant Hills Rotary Club members and FDC staff. The Charity Committee is very pleased to be able to deliver this project to Warrah and would like to thank the many subcontractors listed below for their generosity in raising over $70,000 to complete the project.
