Project Description

The Australian Red Cross assists many people around the world each year and cares for local communities in Australia and Asia Pacific. With millions of volunteers worldwide and thousands of members, volunteers and supporters across Australia, the Australian Red Cross reaches people and places often overlooked by other organisations.

FDC recently completed the fitout of The Australian Red Cross’ NSW head office at St. Andrew’s House in Sydney’s CBD. The two floor fitout, totalling 4,600sqm, incorporates workspaces for 350 employees, AV rooms, cafe, reception area, meeting rooms, breakout area, comms room and a boardroom. In addition, ‘Red Cross College’ provides three training rooms where the organisation will conduct first aid training.

The colourful graphics that adorn the workplace walls successfully reflect the Australian Red Cross’ charitable contribution to society and the organisation’s core values: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.

The fitout will enable the Australian Red Cross to continue to drive and support their culture of collaboration and innovation through a flexible and efficient work space.
