The delivery required the deployment of two data centre facilities located in Tullamarine and Mount Waverley for a top tier financial institution (client name confidential).
The projects involved two dedicated feeds from the Utility network, upgrading, augmenting the existing site infrastructure to then supply both the new facility that was being constructed and the existing infrastructure. This would serve 1 data hall in each of the facilities approximately 520sqm in area, supporting an 800kW IT load utilising a static UPS system. The Hall and associated plant rooms were cooled using indirect evaporative coolers.
The concrete structure was clad using a profiled precast in between a louvre finish, whilst the surrounding premises met the high security requirements of the client.
