When you join FDC as a cadet, you’ll learn from some of the most accomplished members of the building industry while working on award winning projects. Best of all you will be joining a team that celebrates strong personal relationships.
It’s building, Made Personal™.
At FDC, people and relationships come first — and we believe personal touches go a long way. We are defined not only by what we deliver but how we deliver. This sets our culture and is our point of difference. Today we have more than 650 team members around Australia that live our culture every day.
With 35 years experience in the industry, we are experts in construction, fitout, refurbishment and building services. And with a strong focus on people and culture, we offer a cadetship experience few can match.
We offer a full-service building capability across both construction and fitout & refurbishment, and we’ll work with you to align your role with your preferences.
Welcome to a personalised cadetship built to match your goals, interests and strengths.
Welcome to FDC.
Every cadet is different — and so is every FDC cadetship. Here’s what makes our program different.
You can be sure of one thing when you join FDC. We will make the time to get to know you and make your experience personal. Your cadetship will be tailored to you, built to match your goals, interests and strengths.
You learn by doing. Depending on your situation, that might mean working on a building site, coordinating subbies, designing project components or being part of a client pitch.
You can lean on the support and mentorship of our entire team. We love seeing our cadets grow into the future leaders of the building industry – and we’re all committed to making your time with us as valuable as possible.
We know that to succeed at tertiary studies you need to set aside time each week to your unique learning style. We will provide you with university days each week during your semester based on your course year requirements.
We build some of the most awarded projects nationally. We are experts in a variety of sectors and our client advocacy drives our future success. When you work for FDC you are gaining exposure into some of Australia’s greatest brands.
All our cadets receive a salary that is reflective of their level of education and experience all within a flexible, supportive and social working environment.
At FDC, we’re not just hiring cadets — we’re investing in future leaders of the built environment.
