We are about quality, teamwork and getting the job done right. Our personal culture is what drives our strong reputation, from our new starters to our Directors, everyone loves coming together to deliver industry leading projects for our remarkable clients.

I really enjoy how diverse my role can be. Each day is unique, so I’m always problem solving and thinking on my feet, which keeps the job interesting.

Meet Alex Ryan, FDC Contracts Administrator

Our exceptional team includes Alex who started as a Cadet 5 years ago and has moved into a Contract Administrator role. She is currently working on the $220m Macquarie University  Project.

“When I first started with FDC I had never even been on a construction site before, so to be based on site full time as a young and inexperienced cadet and be the only woman on the construction site at the time, was a little daunting for me. I’m fortunate that from the very beginning of my time at FDC I’ve always felt fully supported and encouraged by the team around me, and that, along with the construction knowledge and experience I’ve gained has allowed that self-confidence to grow.”

I had the chance to complete my degree while working and gaining experience – I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start my career.

Meet John Atkins, Contracts Administrator

We love watching our cadets kick-start their career under the mentor-ship of our expert teams. John started with FDC as a cadet in 2016 and has gone from strength to strength in our NSW Construction division.

During his time with FDC, he has been promoted to a Contracts Administrator position, and in 2019 won the Master Builders Association Building Degree Graduate of the Year Award. John is currently working on the $60m National Herbarium of NSW project.
