Minister for Health, The Hon. Brad Hazzard, officially opened the Close Observation Unit at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead on Friday. The facility hosts 2 new staff stations and 6 separate close observation rooms including a state-of-the-art N-Class isolation room. The unit has been designed to cater for infants, children and young people who have complex medical or nursing needs.
