“I had been working as a subcontractor on FDC sites for many years prior to joining FDC full-time in 2018 as a Foreman. I was lucky enough to work on the Asahi extension in Heathwood and now I’m at Hope Island about to start Stage 2 of the Esperance project.
I’ve worked with a lot of different companies over the years, but FDC is top tier for team culture onsite. Everyone works so well together. You can be yourself, everyone respects each other’s ways of doing things and there’s always someone backing you up. One of the best things about working at FDC is the relationships I’ve built with my Site Manager Gary, Bruce the Construction Manager, Simon the General Manager and the rest of the team. I know that if I ever have an issue, I can talk to them on a personal level. It’s unreal to work at a place where the dialogue is always open. They really take the time to make sure that everyone knows their voice is heard, and that at FDC, we’re all in this together.”
