Cornerstone Health, Loganholme

FDC (QLD) have completed the fitout for Cornerstone Medical Centre at Cornubia Shopping Centre, Loganholme. This is the fourth project FDC have delivered for Cornerstone Health, the other three being Cornerstone Health centre at Home Hub Marsden Park (NSW) and Cornerstone Health’s Our Medical Homes™ at Gregory Hills (NSW) and Cranbourne (VIC).

Cornerstone Health’s vision is to establish a network of ‘medical homes’ where engaged and empowered healthcare professionals meet the healthcare needs of patients.

The project scope included fitout works to a single-storey commercial building with the construction of 16 new General Practitioner medical rooms. The fitout includes 2 reception desks with feature joinery and GP rooms with new in-ground sanitary waste disposal. A staged relocation of an existing pharmacy was also undertaken along with the installation of a roller shutter which now conveniently adjoins the GP clinic to the pharmacy. BioGuard medical ceiling tiles were chosen to provide a clean, white look with the added benefits of being anti-microbial, water-resistant and highly light-reflective.

FDC successfully delivered this fitout in conjunction with Y2 Architecture, Northrop, Aston and EC&S.
