FDC (QLD) have completed construction & fitout works within the Redcliffe Special School, 19 Klingner Road, Redcliffe.
Redcliffe Special School is passionately committed to the provision of quality educational experiences for students with intellectual impairment in a safe, supportive and caring environment.
The project included a staff car park, covered bus drop-off & pick-up driveway, two covered outdoor learning areas and an upgrade to the existing school hydrant system.
A new General Learning Area (GLA) and administration building within the existing school has also been completed, which feature state-of-the-art touchscreen interactive displays with hearing augmentation systems installed. Other specialised rooms include the therapy rooms, sensory rooms, health rooms and withdrawal rooms as well as two laundries and oversized accessible toilets equipped with ceiling mounted personnel hoists to assist students with special needs.
FDC successfully delivered this project in conjunction with Ridgemill, Deicke Richards, MPN Consulting and Wood & Grieve Engineers.
