FDC (SA) has completed the fitout of Temple Christian College, 2/6 Henley Beach Road, Henley Beach Road, Mile End.
The 1,100sqm project was undertaken over 16 weeks and included the refurbishment of existing tenancy to new student learning hub including new library space and a dedicated Year 12 area.
New and heritage finishes were integrated with a glass lift to satisfy DDA requirements throughout. Rectification of all existing services was undertaken to meet code and large scale intrusive works were executed to identify and repair existing termite damage including the repointing of over 400sqm of existing bluestone walls at basement level.
A key project feature included the installation of structural steel stairs in six separate locations to link multiple levels together.
The project was delivered on time and within budget in collaboration with Hodgkison Architects, WSP Engineers and CPR Engineers.
