FDC have recently completed a 1,600sqm refurbishment of Level 5, Jane Foss Russell Building (160 City Road Darlington).

The 14 week project was delivered over 3 stages as the university maintained active spaces on the floor for the duration of the fitout. Works included the construction of two reception areas, two kitchens, new lift lobby, open plan workstations, offices and meeting rooms.

FDC’s Mechanical division assisted with an upgrade to the mechanical system in conjunction with upgrades to the electrical, fire, security, hydraulic and audio visual services.

The project was delivered on time and within budget in collaboration with WMK Architecture, Norman Disney Young and FDC Mechanical Services.

This is the 6th project that FDC have delivered for The University of Sydney and follows the completion of the award winning Queen Mary Building project in 2015.
