FDC was appointed Head Contractor to undertake the 8,000sqm, 4 Star Green Star Rating interior fitout for the 3M office located in North Ryde.

Works were carried out over five floors including a delivery dispatch area located in the ground floor car park area. The building itself was originally built by FDC several years prior.

The reception area is located on the first floor with a large entertaining area and training/meeting room separated by acoustically treated wall panels and operable walls.

Test labs and production areas are located on Level 2. The main comms room is located on Level 3 with a second on Level 5, both were fitted out by FDC Technologies.

All workstations and meeting rooms are located from Levels 2 to 5 with each floor having its own breakout area and several quiet pods for personal use.

Careful attention was paid to high-end finishes and advanced electrical and communications infrastructure as well as meeting a tight program of only 12 weeks
