Deloitte’s Canberra Office, a 6,100sqm state-of-the-art space, represents the pinnacle of hybrid work and collaboration. Charged with the brief to create an epicentre for its people, clients, and the wider community to foster convergence and forward momentum.

Emanating from the building’s atrium, the design manifests through sophisticated form and finishes. The space is crafted to foster a sense of place and belonging, with adaptable zones tailored for work, connectivity, and wellness, while strategically incorporating the site’s proximity to the airport to offer inspiring views of the runway and Brindabella Ranges.

The design prioritises human-centric solutions, blending multifunctional spaces and wellness retreats to revolutionise the traditional office layout, maximising natural light and championing inclusivity.

Key to the project were accessibility features, such as adjustable workstations and diverse seating options, ensuring effortless navigation for individuals of all abilities.

Aiming for 5 Green Star-Interiors and WELL Gold certification, the office boasts sustainability through the reuse of furniture and local material sourcing, while biophilic elements infuse nature into daily work life, enhancing well-being.

The project stands as a testament to FDC’s ongoing relationship with Deloitte and a commitment to delivering state-of-the-art, functional spaces for clients.
