FDC has delivered three large-scale warehouse facilities within the Moorebank Intermodal Precinct for ESR, contributing to one of Australia’s most significant future-focused logistics hubs.
Warehouses S1, S2 and S5 span more than 160,000sqm and include internal estate roads, services infrastructure and an internal Transfer Vehicle (ITV) connection to support efficient container movement across the precinct.
The project was delivered with sustainability and supply chain efficiency front of mind. more than 30,000m3 of concrete was placed, while 2,000 tonnes of structural steel were delivered directly via rail – reducing transport emissions and supporting the intermodal model.
Two facilities were completed on schedule, with the third adjusted to accommodate tenant-specific design changes. All buildings are targeting a minimum 5 Star Green Star rating, aligning with the precinct’s goal to significantly reduce operational carbon and improve environmental performance.
This project reflects FDC’s commitment to delivering large-scale infrastructure that improves efficiency today while supporting a more sustainable logistics future.
