Double the size of the MCG and processing over four million Cadbury blocks a week, the Truganina National Distribution Centre is the largest in-house automated warehouse in Mondelēz’s global network.

Powered by a 1MW rooftop solar system, 11 robotic cranes and 17 levels of automated storage, the facility consolidates the company’s national logistics into one intelligent hub – cutting emissions, reducing truck movements, and accelerating speed to shelf across the country.

A 32-metre-high ASRS forms the heart of the centre, installed through a reversed build sequence that prioritised safety, speed and efficiency. Key equipment was airlifted into place by helicopter, allowing progress across multiple zones without delay.

With 40 loading docks, a 25-metre super canopy, capacity for 150 daily vehicle movements and 5,000sqm of expansion-ready warehousing, the TNDC is built for scale – and built to last.
