FDC (VIC) were engaged by Cushman & Wakefield to extend the existing Australia Post (AusPost) Gateway Facility (Melbourne Gateway Facility – Parcel Sorting).

The Melbourne Gateway Facility is a purpose built facility for the screening of domestic and international mail. The facility is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is occupied by Australia Post, Australian Customs Services (ACS) and Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services (AQIS).

The 5,000sqm air-conditioned warehouse extension will house a new state of the art parcel sorting conveyor to ensure AusPost can keep up with the ever growing demand for fast delivers both here in Australia and Internationally.

In addition to the warehouse extension, the external hard stand will be extended. This project will be completed with Cushman & Wakefield, Gray Puksand and Meinhardt.
