As a long-time national client of FDC, Barry.Nilsson. Lawyers entrusted FDC (QLD) to complete an extension of their office space at 215 Adelaide Street, Brisbane. FDC partnered with IA Design under a Design & Construct contract working on approximately 300sqm of space.
The fitout consisted of upgrading a warm shell space with new meeting rooms, breakout area and workstations. Upgrades of the associated services were also carried out, including a new communications room and structured cabling system.
The relatively small scope and budget for the project meant that BN Law did not engage a client side project manager. FDC took on the role of design manager leading the value management process and engaged services subcontractors under Design & Construction arrangements in order to maximise value for our client.
The result is a minimalist yet stylish fitout that is focussed on meeting the functional needs of BN Law.
