Holiday Inn Sydney, St Marys

FDC have completed construction of the 3.5 star Holiday Inn Sydney St Marys, St Marys Rugby League Club (NSW).

Holiday Inn is an internationally recognised brand of hotels under the InterContinental Hotels Group. Founded in 1952, it has grown to be one of the world’s largest hotel chains.

Situated next to the St Marys Rugby League Club, the 119 room, 6-storey hotel incorporates 5 floors of luxury rooms and suites as well as meeting rooms and a gym.

A sleek timber-panel and bluestone lobby welcomes visitors and back-of-house operational spaces and a 510kVA backup generator ensure that the hotel runs smoothly 24/7.

State-of-the-art audio-visual, security and access systems have also been integrated with the Club’s systems.

Other features of the project include an undercroft carpark, large bronze-clad porte-cochere area and loading dock.

FDC successfully delivered this project in conjunction with WMK Architecture and Northrop Engineering.
