Our Queensland team completed the construction of the Goodstart Early Learning Centre in Griffin, QLD in November 2020.
This purpose built centre provides much-needed care for local families. Featuring six large and spacious learning spaces over a single level and a separate nursery sleep room, the centre provides a modern yet home-like naturally inspired environment.
The construction involved a slab on ground with timber frame structure, metal roof, feature external cladding and windows to the façade.
The fitout included integrated air conditioning with additional fresh air, commercial kitchen, integrated security and AV for each of the six learning spaces.
Outside the external play spaces feature extensive landscaping, an outdoor dining hub, sensory gardens, pergola, vegetable garden and three large sandpits.
Our team worked collaboratively with multiple stakeholders including Leyton Property, Cushman & Wakefield, ON Architecture, VT Consulting Engineers and MDA Consulting, to deliver this successful project.
