Status

Established in Australia the 1970’s, Fujitsu is one of Australasia’s leading ICT vendors and service providers across both Australia and New Zealand, employing over 5,000 staff and providing services to both government and private enterprise across a wide range of service streams.

FDC were engaged under a single-select, construction management basis to design and construct the staged office accommodation refurbishment and reconfiguration of Fujitsu’s Queensland head Office at 1 Breakfast Creek Rd, Newstead. The key challenges of the project were to deliver the works in a fully occupied and operational office environment with no disturbance or interruption to the operational effectiveness of Fujitsu.

In addition, FDC were required to deliver a high-security office area that satisfied the requirements of the Australian Government, Department of Defence (intelligence & Security).

The success of the project was built around communication and consultation and the FDC delivery team’s commitment to further enhancing our existing relationship with Fujitsu. FDC worked hard to overcome the key challenges of staging the project effectively, maintaining continual access to all services, and exceeding the client’s expectations in terms of quality and value for money.
