FDC (VIC) has completed the fitout of end of trip facilities (EOTF) at Rialto Towers, 525 Collins Street, Melbourne CBD.

Designed by architects Gerard de Preu and Partners in association with Perrott Lyon Mathieson, The Rialto towers form an iconic part of Melbourne’s skyline and is a 5.5 Star NABERS building.

The 400sqm project was delivered in 16 weeks and involved the construction of an EOTF to service Rialto Towers. Works included the installation of 349 bike spaces, 574 lockers, new shower facilities a bike repair station, towel service, ironing boards and male and female change rooms complete with hair dryers and hair straighteners.

The location of the facilities is an indicator of the changing priorities of both the owner and the tenants. The facilities have replaced 40 premium car parks, positioned near the lift wells and on the entry floor. Now the best parking spots are reserved for bike riders.

The relocation of the prestige car washing facility inclusive of all infrastructure was also facilitated within the timeframe.

The project was delivered on time and within budget.
