The transformation of Levels 3 and 5 in the Yaradhang Building for the Department of Health, Disability & Ageing is more than a fitout – it’s a benchmark in contemporary workplace design.
Spanning 9,630sqm and delivered in just 24 weeks within a live, operational environment, the project was shaped by a clear focus on functionality, inclusivity and design excellence. Achieving this not only required technical precision, but also careful planning and coordination.
As one of the first projects to implement the Australian Skills Guarantee Procurement Connected Policy, the works demanded detailed reporting across Apprentices, Trainees, Learning Workers and Women’s participation. FDC exceeded expectations – achieving 15.2% apprentice participation against the 10% target, with more than 50 apprentices contributing to the project.
Through strong stakeholder engagement, seamless subcontractor collaboration and a proven track record in delivering high-quality government fitouts, FDC successfully brought the project to life on time, and to the highest standard.
